The invention relates to a vehicle transmission shift fork (6) that switches, on a stationary bearing point (18) of the latter, between an engaged position and a released position, said fork having, spaced apart from said stationary bearing point (18), at least one recess (15) that receives the retainer (9) of a translatably movable actuator rod (8). Said fork moreover has, on the center thereof, a hole (16), ensuring the free passage therethrough of the rod (8), and a side edge, on which the retainer (9) slides in all operational positions of the fork (6) between the two extreme positions thereof. Said fork is characterized in that the retainer (9) bears, consecutively, on the upper portion (15a) then on the lower portion (15b) of the side edge of the recess (15) when the fork (6) switches between the engaged position and the released position. |
