BENZOFURANONE DERIVATIVES AND APPLICATION OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An antioxidant compound induced from benzofuranone compounds and benzoic acid compounds is provided to strengthen coloring stability. CONSTITUTION: A benzofuranone derivative with an antioxidation ability is denoted by chemical formula I. In chemical formula I, n is 0, 1, 2, or 3; R1 and R2 are independently H or C-C8 alkyl group. The benzofuranone derivative is denoted by chemical formulas II, III, or IV. A method for stabilizing an organic material comprises a step of adding the compound of chemical formula I to the organic material. The organic material is a polymer material.
