SAWDUST CLAY MINIASCAPE FOR CULTIVATING OROSTACHYS JAPONICUS

PURPOSE: A miniature garden using sawdust and clay for cultivating Orostachys japonicus is provided to improve heliophilous property, draining property, and ventilation property of the garden. CONSTITUTION: A miniature garden using sawdust and clay is produced by the following steps: mixing particle clay and refined sawdust in a ratio of 4:1(v/v), and kneading; and roasting the obtained dough in a reduced firing kiln. The particle clay includes flame-resistant clay and inorganic clay in a ratio of 3:7. The refined sawdust is filtered with a 5mm filtering film. The miniature garden includes a drain hole and a vent hole on the bottom surface and the side surface.
