<p>PURPOSE: A light source apparatus using laser as a light source and a projector using the same is provided to improve the luminance of a screen by comprising a monochromatic light source emitting frequency domain copping with a phosphor having low light emitting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A light source apparatus(63) comprises a light source plate, a first light source(72), a second light source(82), a concentration optical units(62, 90), and a light source control unit. The light source plate comprises a plurality of segment sections. The light source plate comprises a phosphor emitting predetermined wide wavelength range. The light source plate irradiates excitation light to the phosphor. The first light source emits the light having a range different from that of the excitation light. The concentration optical units concentrate the lights emitted from the light source plate and the second light source through a single light route.</p> |
