A logical control system (LCS) relates to automatic devices, namely to digital equipment of production control systems. The logical control system comprises an input module, a logic module, a diagnostics module, an output module, an optical communication module, those are interconnected by means of LVDS communication lines. LCS comprises optical communication lines. LCS is built on the base chassis in two configurations: a simple one – there is one logic module and one diagnostics module is arranged in the chassis; a duplicated one – there are two logic modules (basic and redundant ones) are arranged in the chassis. The logic control system is based on joint operation of modules that form a local nucleus, a divided nucleus, a hybrid nucleus. Use of the logic control system allows providing required system functionality, possibility of multiple uses of platform modules on the basis of PLIC to build various redundant systems, high reliability, safety, operational speed, tolerance to failure, quality improvement and communications security, separation of control circuit from diagnostics circuit. |
