CONTAINER LOADING METHOD AND DEVICE TO LOAD CONTAINERS UNDER THE ACCOMMODATION SPACE OF A CONTAINER SHIP

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for loading a container under an accommodation area of a container ship are provided to increase the freedom of design for an optimal container ship and to minimize the total number of lodable containers. CONSTITUTION: A method for loading a container under an accommodation space of a container ship is as follows. A container(1) is transferred to a lower space(4) under an accommodation area by using a conveyor system(10). The conveyor system is installed at the bottom of a container ship and moves toward stem and stern directions. The transferred container is loaded in the lower space under the accommodation area by using a cell guide elevator. The cell guide elevator is installed in the lower space under the accommodation area and vertically moves.
