PURPOSE: A method for preparing L-alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline type I is provided to produce various formulations with high drug compliance. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing L-alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline type I crystal comprises: a step of concentrating liquid L-alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline at 45-65 Deg. C. to reduce moisture content; a step of inputting the concentrated L-alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline to an alcohol solution and cooling by 5-20 Deg. C.; a step of inputting 0.1-0.5 mol% of crystal, stirring at 30-60 rpm, and maturing for 2-5 hours; and a step of filtering the crystal.
