PURPOSE: A shutter opening and closing device and a financial device using the same are provided to reduce noise and manufacturing costs by not driving a motor for opening and closing a shutter. CONSTITUTION: A shutter opening and closing device(200) comprises a shutter(131), permanent magnets(140,150), electromagnets(A,B,C), and a current supplier(160). The shutter covers incoming and outgoing spaces of medium. The shutter is opened and closed by rotating with a rotary shaft as the center. The shutter comprises both end parts by leaving the rotary shaft in interval. The permanent magnets are arranged on the both end parts of the shutter. The electromagnets are closely arranged with the permanent magnets. The current supplier supplies current to the electromagnets and selectively changes direction of the current. |
