PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to not form a separating unit in a semiconductor wafer and an edge unit for preventing a short. CONSTITUTION: A first conductive layer(300) is formed on the first semiconductor layer. A first electrode(400) is formed on the first conductive layer. A second semiconductor layer is formed on the other side of the semiconductor wafer. The second semiconductor layer has different polarity with the first semiconductor layer. A second conductive layer(600) is formed on the second semiconductor layer. A second electrode(700) is formed on the second conductive layer. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are formed in order not to contact each other in a side of the semiconductor wafer.
