The method involves automatic driving of electric traction vehicles (11) between an entry (13) and an exit (14) of a service station (10). An accumulator of each vehicle is electrically recharged between entering and leaving of the vehicle in and from the station in an automatic manner by a mobile robot, which plugs in an electric contactor in a socket (20) provided on the vehicle and moves simultaneously with the displacement of the vehicle. The electric recharging of the accumulator is realized during storage of the vehicle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a service station for an electric vehicle fleet management system (2) a system for managing a fleet of electric traction vehicles in self-service place.
