摘要 PURPOSE: A method for controlling a generating turbocharger for an internal combustion engine is provided to drive a generator according to the RPM(revolutions per minute) of a generator in a high-speed range to obtain electric energy and prevent excess air. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a generating turbocharger for an internal combustion engine is as follows. A vehicle is started(S100). The output pressure of a compressor, the RPM of a generator, and the charge current of a battery are respectively detected(S200,300,400). It is determined if the current speed of the vehicle is low or high(S600). If the vehicle speed is high, a maximum output conversion value(K) is selected. If the vehicle speed is between low and high, 1 is selected as a constant(S700). The electricity(P) according to the RPM of the generator is calculated according to the RPM of the generator and the constant(S800). The electricity and current are adjusted by a power converter based on the calculated electricity(S900). In the case an engine is not stopped, the process returns to the second step(S1000). If the engine is stopped, a start key is switched off(S1100).
