PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for inspecting a hydraulic actuator for a power plant turbine is provided to obtain specific inspection results about abnormal contents and abnormal positions of the hydraulic actuator by detecting information about flow rate, hydraulic pressure, input signals, and piston positions with multiple sensors. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inspecting a hydraulic actuator for a power plant turbine(10) comprises a hydraulic actuator(100), multiple sensors, a control unit(400), and an output unit(500). The hydraulic actuator comprises a main body, a servo valve, a solenoid valve, and a shutoff valve. The servo valve selectively changes flow rate provided to the lower part of a piston by changing an inner passage according to input signals. The multiple sensors detect operating information of the hydraulic actuator. The control unit selectively shuts off the input signals provided to the servo valve and processes the operating information detected from the multiple sensors.
