PURPOSE: A water treating apparatus equipped with a circulating path and a water treating method using the same are provided to minimize the size of a water treating apparatus by omitting a separate coagulating bath and a separate settling bath. CONSTITUTION: A water treating apparatus includes a coagulant introducing unit(130), a membrane filtering unit(150), a feed water pump(120), a water supplying path(122), a circulating path(124), and a circulating pump(160). The membrane filtering unit includes an inlet, a treated water outlet, and a feed water outlet. Feed water with coagulant is introduced into the membrane filtering unit through the inlet. The non-filtered part of the feed water is discharged through the feed water outlet. The feed water pump transfers the feed water with coagulant to the membrane filtering unit. The water supplying path connects the discharging side of the feed water pump and the inlet of the membrane filtering unit. The circulating path connects the feed water outlet of the membrane filtering unit and the water supplying path. The circulating pump transfers the discharged feed water to the inlet. |
