PURPOSE: A reinforcing bar fixing device and a reinforcing bar fixing method using the same are provided to improve safety by preventing the separation of a fixed reinforcing bar. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing bar fixing device(100) comprises a fixing body(120) and a pressure member. The fixing body has a housing space and reinforcing bar joint housing grooves. The housing space receives a reinforcing bar(F) therein. The joint protrusions(F') of the reinforcing bar are inserted into the reinforcing bar joint housing grooves. The pressure member is inserted into the housing space in the opposite direction to the reinforcing bar and restricts the movement of the fixing body and the reinforcing bar.
