The arrangement has two axially outer parts (7, 8) whose outer sides form braking tracks of a brake disk (14), and an intermediate central part (15) located between the axially outer parts. The central part comprises an array of open pores to form a ventilation unit for cooling the brake disk, where the central part is made of open-pored metallic foam. The central part has a thickness of about twice the thickness of the braking tracks, and the array of open pores has a void ratio of 80 to 90 percent. The central part is provided with mechanical reinforcement studs.
