<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind turbine blade that can improve aerodynamic performance in the tip-end region of the blade and reduce aerodynamic noise. <P>SOLUTION: The wind turbine blade includes a blade body in which a chord length decreases from a blade root side to a blade tip-end side. The blade body includes: a blade tip-end region in which a dimensionless radial position obtained by dividing a radial position by a blade radius (1/2 of the blade diameter) is 0.6 or more and 1.0 or less; and a main-body-side region in which a dimensionless radial position is less than 0.6. The position L1 of a maximum blade thickness in the blade cross-section of the blade tip-end region is located more on the side of the blade leading edge 9 than the position L1 of a maximum blade thickness in a blade cross-section of the main-body-side region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
