<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vials reduced in alkali elution from an inner surface, and a method for producing the vials. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a vial by molding a borosilicate glass tube includes: a first step in which a vial bottom part is shaped so as to have a cup form; and a second step in which the mouth of the cup is formed to produce a vial reduced in alkali release. When a case requires, an inner surface of the mouth side of a given length from the bottom of the vial is treated by fire blasting using flame to remove the region deteriorated by processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
