PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact reduction gear capable of effectively preventing any breakage or failure of the reduction gear and a motor at low cost, even in a situation in which excessive wind power load is applied.

SOLUTION: The reduction gear G1 has an output pinion 24 to be engaged with a gear provided on a body side of a wind power generation equipment, and includes: a planetary gear reduction gear mechanism 44 having an external-tooth gear (planetary gear) 76, an output flange (carrier) 82, and a plurality of inner pins (planetary pins) 80; and a constraint ring 88 for bundling ends on each counter-carrier side of the inner pins 80.
