<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss of an output buffer circuit that drives an inductive load. <P>SOLUTION: When a current flows from an inductive load 2 into an output buffer circuit 100, a slew-rate control unit 140 controls such that an output signal VOUT changes from a low slew rate to a high slew rate at a rising edge of the output signal VOUT from the output buffer circuit 100 and controls such that the output signal VOUT changes from the high slew rate to the low slew rate at a falling edge of the output signal VOUT. Additionally, when a current flows out from the output buffer circuit 100 to the inductive load 2, the slew-rate control unit 140 controls such that the output signal VOUT changes from the high slew rate to the low slew rate at the rising edge of the output signal VOUT and controls such that the output voltage VOUT changes from the low slew rate to the high slew rate at the falling edge of the output signal VOUT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
