PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner capable of preventing sticking or generation of killifish-like defects.

SOLUTION: Toner comprises at least two kinds of resins and has a sea-island structure in which a first resin constitutes a sea portion and a second resin constitutes an island portion. An abundance ratio of the second resin in a region from the toner surface to a depth of 500 nm is 20 to 70% by volume; and an abundance ratio of the second resin in a region at a depth of over 500 nm from the toner surface is 10% by volume or less. The second resin has an average circularity of 0.90 or more, and an embedment rate of the second resin with respect to the toner is 90% or more.
