<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that when using a diffusion layer having an aperture, use efficiency of light is deteriorated and an image becomes dark, that when projecting an image onto a screen made of a lenticular lens, adjustment for canceling directivity of each color is troublesome, the directivity cannot be completely canceled, and generation of irregular color is a concern, and that position adjustment of the image to be projected and each lens of the lenticular lens has to be strictly performed in each case. <P>SOLUTION: In a color stereoscopic display, a display panel 2 and a lenticular lens sheet 3 are placed oppositely. A prism sheet 9 having a prism surface whose cross section at an observation side is saw-tooth is disposed at the observation side more than the lenticular lens sheet 3. The prism surface is filled with a flat layer 10 having a refractive index lower than that of the prism sheet 9 and flattened. At least one of the prism sheet 9 and flat layer 10 is constituted by a material having a variable refractive index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
