<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of reliably preventing a thin plate-like connection object with a locked part projecting outward from being unintentionally drawn without breaking the locked part or a fixing metal fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The connector comprises an insulator 20, in and from which a connection object 80 having a thin plate-like locked part 81 projecting outward on at least any side edge can be inserted and removed, and which is opposed to a circuit board CB; an engagement recess 23, which is formed on a side wall 22 of the insulator, and with and from which the locked part can be engaged and disengaged; an inserting recess 33, which is formed on the side wall and whose face on the engagement recess side is covered with the side wall; contacts 40, 50 supported on the insulator; and a fixing metal fitting 60 having a reinforcing part 62 fitted with the inserting recess and soldered on a circuit board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
