摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air-pressure monitoring system that determines from which transmitter of the transmitters, respectively located at each of a plurality of wheel positions, a radio signal is transmitted even while achieving structural simplification. <P>SOLUTION: The tire air-pressure monitoring system is configured as follows. When request signals transmitted from transmitting antennas 10a, 11a are received by each transmitter T1-T4 of each wheel W1-W4, a response signal is transmitted from each transmitter T1-T4. Here, each transmitting antenna 10a, 11a is arranged closer to the left wheel positions P1, P3 respectively than the right wheel positions P2, P4. Each transmitter T1-T4 transmits each request signal which includes an identification code having only the number of frames corresponding to the received-signal intensity of each request signal. Further, a monitoring device 1 determines from which transmitter of the transmitters at the respective wheel positions P1-P4 the response signal is transmitted on the basis of the presence or absence of the reception of the response signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
