<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool with high safety and operability. <P>SOLUTION: The power tool 10 is provided with a trigger lever 41 that starts a drive source, and a safety lock mechanism 51 which for freely regulating/releasing operations of the trigger lever 41. The safety lock mechanism 51 includes a safety button 52 and a lock plate 54 driven in response to the operations of the safety button 52. When the safety button 52 is normally projected out from the front surface of a gripping part 40, the trigger lever 41 and the lock plate 54 are brought into contact with each other, and if an operator pushes the safety button 52 down with his or her finger, the contact state of the trigger lever 41 and lock plate 54 is released. In addition, the safety button 52 is provided in the vicinity of the fulcrum of the trigger lever 41, while the contact portion 54b of the lock plate 54 with the trigger lever 41 is arranged near the emphasis point of the trigger lever 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
