<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake resonator of an internal combustion engine that regulates a resonance frequency of the intake resonator with a set of configurations without changing the intake resonator and an exterior of the intake resonator. <P>SOLUTION: The intake resonator 1 of the internal combustion engine divides a communication pipe 11 from an intake duct 2 and connects a resonance box 10 to the communication pipe 11 to reduce intake noise generated in the intake duct 2 through the resonance effect. The intake resonator 1 is inserted through the inside of the communication pipe 11 and includes a regulating pipe 12 disposed along an axial direction thereof so as to be slidable. In addition, the length L of a connection passage 14 for connecting between the inside of the intake duct 2 and the inside of the resonance box 10 can be regulated according to a position of the regulating pipe 12 in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
