METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING BASIC SESSION IN DSN VOIP SERVICE SYSTEM

Disclosed are a method and system for protecting the basic session in a DSN VoIP service system, including: when processing a Session Initiation Protocol(SIP) message, the primary serving node caches the SIP message locally and synchronously backs up the same to a Distributed Service Network (DSN) overlay; after detecting that the primary serving node has failed, the standby serving node obtains the backed-up SIP message from the DSN overlay to recover the SIP session. By way of the present invention, the session protection problem caused by the failure of the serving node in the DSN VoIP service system can be solved effectively.
