FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed invention aims at perfecting electromagnetic brakes of transport facility. Proposed brake comprises, at least, one braking magnet 2 with carcass 8 supporting, at least, one magnetic oil 9, horseshoe magnetic core 6 with yoke 28 and webs 42a, 42b. Pole shoes 16a, 16b are arranged on ends of said webs facing rail end 1. Note here that, at least, one magnetic coil 9 embraces yoke 28 by upper part 30 and lower part 32 arranged between webs 42a, 42b. In compliance with this invention, cross-section of magnetic coil 9, in top section, has smaller height h and larger width b compared with those in bottom section. Note here that height h is measured in parallel with while width b is measured perpendicular to vertical axis 38 of brake magnet 2. ^ EFFECT: decreased weight and power consumption. ^ 17 cl, 6 dwg |
