<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of more appropriately coping with the occurrence of an abnormality in a storage part in which data have been stored when the abnormality occurs in the storage part, and to provided a technology related to the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes the storage part in which the data are stored, a detection part that detects an error in the data stored in the storage part, and a job controller that executes a job using the data.
