摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler capable of reducing noise even if the Mach number of steam is large without using a fibrillar sound-deadening material.

SOLUTION: The muffler includes: a porous plate-shaped inner cylinder; an outer cylinder disposed to face the inner cylinder with a predetermined gap; a sound absorbing layer composed of a space formed of the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder; and a partition plate for axially dividing the space of the sound absorbing layer into a plurality of sections. The porous plate is formed of a porous plate.
