摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display quality under a high temperature and high humidity environment while maintaining excellent characteristics, a yield and the like of a liquid crystal display panel without thickening a width of a sealing adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: On an inorganic oxide film pattern 41 formed over a part of a peripheral pixel region 23 and a part of a sealing region 24 to surround a display region 21 and a dummy pixel region 22, a sealing adhesive 43 which does not contain spacer particles is formed by dispensing or printing. Liquid crystal 8 is dropped into a region surrounded by the sealing adhesive 43 by a dispenser or the like. An orientation of molecules of the dropped liquid crystal 8 is changed and light transmittance thereof is increased or decreased when a voltage is applied thereto. A liquid crystal display panel 40 is manufactured by bonding a glass substrate 2 and a semiconductor substrate 1 with the sealing adhesive 43 such that a counter electrode 3 on the glass substrate 2 is opposed to a pixel electrode 25 on the semiconductor substrate 1. A thickness of the sealing adhesive 43 is 0.5 &mu;m to 1.2 &mu;m to satisfy both of adhesive strength and humidity resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
