When the power feed from a power supply device (12) to an induction line (14) is to be initiated, the oscillation frequency of an inductor (24) of the power supply device (12) is set to a prescribed frequency offset from the frequency at which a resonant circuit resonates. After a prescribed period of time passes, the oscillation frequency is modified from the prescribed frequency to the resonant frequency. Thus, even if every transport carriage (17) were to attempt to take power from the induction line (14) in full-load mode, the amount of power drawn by the resonant circuits of each transport carriage (17) would be reduced, resulting in the overall power drawn being restricted to the power that the power supply device (12) can provide, avoiding an overload of the power supply device (12). |
