The gear (10) has forward gear stages arranged on two input shafts (14, 16), respectively. An intermediate shaft (18) is divided into an inner radial shaft portion (18a) and an outer hollow shaft portion (18b). Four lot gear wheels of the input shafts combine with four fixed gear wheels of the inner and outer portions of the intermediate shaft, respectively and arranged on a driven shaft (20). Synchronous clutches (26, 28) of the lot wheels are switched such that gear ratios are consecutively generated by shifting of gear wheel sets (is1-is9) and/or closing of the synchronous clutches.
