In the present invention, when the video/audio of a live broadcast is re-broadcast, only the main-programme section, used during the live broadcast, is automatically cut out and broadcast. Whilst recording the video/audio signals of a live broadcast in a video server, a defined main-programme start-time is received from a computer (APC) which executes broadcast transmission control every time a time is defined, and by calculating the difference between the received main-programme start-time and the initiation time of recording to the video server, the time code of the main-programme is computed, for the point when the beginning of a recorded video/audio data file is seen at 00:00:00:00. When a live broadcast is being re-broadcast, only the main-programme section video/audio signals in the live broadcast are cut out and broadcast, by calculating the time code for an advertisement section and the main-programme section in the recorded video/audio signal.
