PLASMA-CATALYTIC REACTOR FOR REMOVAL OF HAZADOUS GASES AND REMOVING METHOD OF HAZADOUS GASES USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A plasma-catalytic reactor for eliminating harmful gas and a method for treating the harmful gas using the same are provided to effectively eliminate harmful gas at low temperature regions using plasma before a catalyst is heated. CONSTITUTION: A plasma-catalytic reactor(100) for eliminating harmful gas includes a catalyst(10), a driving electrode(20), and a ground electrode(30). Exhaust gas passes through the catalyst such that harmful gas in the exhaust gas is reduced. The driving electrode is positioned at the front side of the catalyst and is in connection with a power supplying part(50). The ground electrode is positioned at the rear side of the catalyst. A first gap is secured between the driving electrode and the catalyst. Plasma is generated in the first gap based on the electric potential difference of the catalyst and the driving electrode to reduce harmful gas. The catalyst is electrically connected.
