<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus in which movability of one of two housings is different from movability of the other. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus of an embodiment includes a first housing, a second housing, a connection portion, and a friction mechanism. The first housing has a first edge portion, and a first display screen. The second housing has a second edge portion along the first edge portion, and a second display screen which can face to the first display screen. The connection portion has a contact part which contacts, in a state where one of the first housing and the second housing is placed on a flat surface and the other of them is raised, to the flat surface, and is connected to the first edge portion so as to be allowed to pivot around a first rotation axis and also is connected to the second edge portion so as to be allowed to pivot around a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis. In the friction mechanism, a magnitude of a friction force when one of the first housing and the second housing pivots relative to the connection portion differs from a magnitude of a friction force when the other of the first housing and the second housing pivots relative to the connection portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
