<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire spike capable of obtaining high scratch resistance (high on-ice performance) and achieving weight reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The tire spike includes a columnar body 2 fitted into a bottomed opening formed on a tire tread surface from one end surface side in the direction along a central axis X to be mounted on a tread surface, and a pin 3 projecting in a direction along the central axis X from the other end surface 20 in a direction along the central axis X of the columnar body 2. The pin 3 is formed of a columnar body of a different shape projecting from the other end surface 20 of the columnar body 2 and having a concave section 22 removed in a portion lying astride other end surfaces and peripheral surface of a cylindrical body extending in a direction along the central axis X of the columnar body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
