A wavelength conversion laser light source is provided with a solid-state laser medium (5) for generating fundamental wave light, a wavelength conversion element (7) for converting the fundamental wave light into a second harmonic wave light, a concave-surface mirror (6) formed with a first reflection surface for reflecting the fundamental wave light and the second harmonic wave light, and a wavelength plate (8) formed with a second reflection surface for reflecting the fundamental wave light and for transmitting the second harmonic wave light, wherein the first reflection surface and the second reflection surface constitute a laser resonator (2), the solid-state laser medium is disposed on the first reflection surface side of the laser resonator, the wavelength plate is disposed on the second reflection surface side of the laser resonator, the wavelength conversion element is disposed between the solid-state laser medium and the wavelength plate, and the wavelength plate outputs the second harmonic wave light converted by means of the wavelength conversion element to the outside of the laser resonator via the second reflection surface.
