PURPOSE: A media coating composition is provided to have excellent heavy metal adsorption performance, to effectively reduce heavy metal concentration of waste water when using a surface-treated carrier. CONSTITUTION: A media coating composition comprises: 100.0 parts by weight of a thermosetting resin; 0.1-20 parts by weight of a curing initiator; 80-180 parts by weight of a solvent; 3-35 parts by weight of one or more self-assembling organic compound selected from 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, hexamethyldisilazane, and tridecafluoro-1,1,2,2-tetrahydrooctyl-1-trichlorosilane; and 0.3-3.5 parts by weight of at least one or more binders selected from gelatin, starch, polyvinylalcohol, a butadiene copolymer, polyvinyl chloride, polyacrylamide, polyurethane, polystyrene, polycarbonate, and polypropylene. |
