<p>To suppress reduction of a withstand voltage and mechanical deterioration of an electrode plate of a secondary battery, and to shorten a charging time. A charger (10) that charges a secondary battery is provided with: a first output unit (11), which outputs a first voltage at a predetermined voltage value; a second output unit (11), which outputs a second voltage at a voltage value different from the predetermined voltage value; a third output unit (16), which outputs, as a third voltage, a voltage at a predetermined frequency; and a charge control unit (17), which has inputted thereto the first voltage and the second voltage, alternately selects the first voltage and the second voltage, synthesizes the selected first voltage and the third voltage and/or the selected second voltage and the third voltage, and supplies, as a charge voltage, a voltage thus obtained by the synthesis to the secondary battery.</p> |
