PURPOSE: A method for removing noise in an image is provided to supply a bidirectional filter removing effectively noise for Poisson-Gaussian mixing noise when a saturation state or a cut-off state is generated in the image. CONSTITUTION: A window including a central pixel is set(S110). A standard deviation of a value of pixels included in the window is calculated(S120). A variable of a range filter of a bidirectional filter is determined(S130). The pixels included in the window are filtered by using bidirectional filter. A value of the central pixel is determined(S140).
