<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire features of an acoustic signal by the multiple use of HPSS (harmonic and percussive sound separation) analysis for use in HPSS. <P>SOLUTION: A method for extracting features of an acoustic signal includes: a step of preparing n acoustic signal spectrograms resulting from converting the acoustic signal to a time-frequency domain by using n kinds of different frame lengths; a step of applying HPSS analysis on each spectrogram to acquire n H-component separated signal sets or n P-component separated signal sets; and a step of acquiring differential signals between separated signals in the acquired separated signal sets as features of the acoustic signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
