<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which can surely select a selection item that is requested by a user in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A first side face antenna 22 and a second side face antenna 23 are arranged at positions spaced apart from each other, in the antennas for non-contact communication with an IC card C.
