<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: A system that superimposes a high frequency voltage signal in a d-axis direction and thus estimates a rotational angle θ based on a high-frequency current running through a motor generator 10 generates noise in estimating the rotational angle θ. <P>SOLUTION: An angle estimation section 40 estimates a rotational angle based on an expansion induced voltage. A high frequency component of a voltage applied to a motor generator 10 is obtained by subtracting command voltages vdr, vqr from a voltage vector Vi expressing the present operational state of an inverter IV. A rotational angle θ is estimated by calculating an amount in proportion to a differential value of a q-axis current in an expansion induced voltage, based on the resulting ripple generated at an electric current running through the motor generator 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
