<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device for a vehicle etc. which, when the display position of an image displayed in an instrument display part that displays an instrument image showing an instrument of the vehicle is changed, induces a user to prepare for change of the display position of the image. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 101a obtains vehicle information. The CPU 101a performs first processing for displaying the image showing the obtained vehicle information on a display area in the instrument display part 109, and second processing for changing the display area.
