<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control sound output from a headphone to have frequency characteristics desired by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A reproduction device comprises generation means, correction means, and audio signal output means. On the basis of first data indicating frequency characteristics of sound output from a headphone and second data indicating target frequency characteristics, the generation means generates correction data for correcting the frequency characteristics. The correction means corrects audio data on the basis of the correction data.
