The claimed utility model relates to the field of refrigeration engineering and can be used as an evaporator in a domestic refrigerator, and also as an evaporator in any refrigerating device for industrial or commercial purposes. The proposed evaporator comprises a metallic plate preferably formed from aluminium, and channels for the evaporation of refrigerant, which channels are situated in the body of the above-mentioned evaporator plate. One side of the evaporator plate is in contact with cooled air or with a cladding panel which is in contact with cooled air, and at least one cavity containing eutectic fluid is disposed on the opposite side of the plate. The eutectic fluid is in contact with the surface of the evaporator plate, said surface constituting a heat-exchange surface of the fluid with the material of the plate. Furthermore, the area of the above-mentioned heat-exchange surface exceeds the area of the surface of the evaporation channels. The combination of essential features of the claimed evaporator provides an increase in the density of the heat flow supplied to the evaporable refrigerant. |
