<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission shaft which has high fitting precision to a shaft hole and is excellent in responsiveness of torque transmission, in the rotation transmission shaft having a fitting part which is fitted to the shaft hole having a non-circular cross section. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation transmission shaft is characterized in that the fitting part to the shaft hole includes an inner muscle made of an elastic body and an outer shell made of metal located on the outside of the inner muscle. The outer shell has a plurality of split contact parts which are brought into discontinuous contact with the inner surface of the shaft hole. When the fitting part is inserted to the shaft hole, the inner muscle is elastically deformed and the plurality of split contact parts of the outer shell are brought into pressure-contact with the inner surface of the shaft hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
