<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-reflection film that can easily cope with a larger area, and is excellent in light transmittance, and adhesion to a base material. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the manufacturing method of an anti-reflection film that has, on the base material, a refraction factor gradient film whose refraction factor in a visible light range continuously increases in a range of 1.0 to 2.5 from a farthest side from the base material to a nearest side to the base material in a thickness direction, and has a refraction factor in the visible light range of 70% or more.
