<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure capable of restraining the deterioration in an adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: In this vehicle body structure 10, a shelf part 50 turning to the vehicle upper side is formed in one lower side flange 26 out of lower side flanges 26 and 36 in a vehicle body skeleton member 12. This shelf part 50 is inclined with respect to the vehicle horizontal direction so as to proceed to the vehicle lower side toward a drain hole, and its lower end part reaches an opening peripheral edge part on the vehicle upper side in the drain hole. In the adhesive 40 for adhering the lower side flanges 26 and 36, an adhesive part 40A between a vertical wall part 52 and an opposed part 60 is positioned on the vehicle upper side in its upper end part 40B than the shelf part 50. With this constitution, drainage performance in a lower part of the vehicle body skeleton part 12 can be secured, and the adhesive part 40 A between the vertical wall part 52 and the opposed part 60 can be restrained from being flooded over a long period.
