<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel device which allows the increase in response speed of liquid crystal at a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel device 1 includes: an LCD 5 being a liquid crystal display unit; an RGB adjustment circuit 10 which adjusts an RGB level of an image signal to be sent to the LCD 5; an LED backlight 6 which backlights the LCD 5; a backlight control circuit 13 which adjusts the amount of light emission from the LED backlight 6; and a thermistor 9 which measures a temperature of the LCD 5. When a temperature t of the LCD 5 measured by the thermistor 9 is lower than a prescribed reference temperature Ta, a CPU 11 performs control to increase the amount of light emission from the LED backlight 6 and to reduce the RGB level of the image signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
